1) The Beach: With a name like Datona Beach, this has to be the number one attraction. Datona has 23 miles of unspoiled beach for you to enjoy. Main Street Pier and Ocean Walk Village are hot spots on the beach with a variety of beach activities, restaurants, arcades, sports equipment rentals, and shops all within walking distance. You can even do some fishing off the pier if you want.

2) Daytona Beach Boardwalk – Take some time to enjoy the old arcade and mini-cart track. You can also visit a variety of souvenir shops, take a cable car ride, enjoy musical entertainment on the beachfront Bandshell, and much more.

3) Daytona International Speedway – No trip to Datona would be complete without a visit to the Datona International Sppedway, home to the Datona 500, Pepsi 400, NASCAR racing and much more. On days when there are no races, consider a guided trolley tour of the track or NASCAR’s historical exhibits, the Datona Dreamlap simulator, the Richard Petty Ride-Along. For the more adventurous, grab a stock car for a few laps in the countryside.

4) Museum of Arts and Sciences – The museum is best known for housing the only portrait of Eva PerĂ³n from Argentina painted while she was alive. Other attractions include art collections from China, Africa, and Cuba. There are also fascinating displays of Florida history, including fossil mammoths, as well as a planetarium and sculpture garden.

5) Marine Science Center at Lighthouse Point Park: The center offers a fascinating view of the aquatic world. They have a 5000 gallon artificial reef aquarium, a variety of interactive displays, and a wet-dry laboratory for studying the sea. Of special interest is the sea turtle rehabilitation program that they carry out.

6) Bulow Plantation Ruins State Park – Once home to a plantation and sugar mill that was founded in 1821 and destroyed during the Seminole Indian War. The park offers a variety of nature trails, as well as the opportunity to walk among the ruins of the sugar mill and an open-air museum.

7) Ocean Walk Village – This is the ideal place for holiday shopping and entertainment. Ocean Walk Village has restaurants, a margarita and fajita bar, mai tais, and a variety of other restaurants, as well as a 10-screen movie theater, a Harley Davidson store, and much more.
