If you plan to store your Boliy generator for 4 months or more, the manufacturer recommends taking long-term storage precautions. This will protect against fluid deterioration and internal damage. You can do this on Boliy Pro3600Si and Pro3600Si / E electric start.

FUEL DRAIN SYSTEM

To drain fuel from the system for long-term storage, do the following:

A. Turn on the fuel cock. This is below the reverse start.

B. Start the engine and let it run until it stops. This will drain the fuel tank and lines.

C. To drain excess fuel from the carburetor float bowl, loosen the drain plug screw attached to the plastic drain tube coming out of the rear panel of the generator. The drain screw can be accessed with a flat-head screwdriver through the upper left hole in the air vent on the rear panel.

CAUTION: do not remove the screw completely; to replace it, it will be necessary to pull the rear panel of the generator.

TIP: If you take a flashlight and shine a beam through the spark plug door, it will help you see the drain screw!

PREPARING THE ENGINE FOR STORAGE:

To prepare the engine for long-term storage, do the following:

A. Remove the spark plug from the cylinder. In the spark plug hole for a small amount (about 1 tablespoon) of 10W 30 or 10W 40 weight motor oil.

B. Reinstall the plug; With the engine switch in the OFF position, use the recoil starter to gently crank the engine 2 to 3 times.

C. Gently pull the recoil one last time, but only until you begin to feel the force of compression.

This indicates that the piston is in the up position, where you want it to be for storage.

REMEMBER: It is not necessary to drain the engine oil before storage. But when the generator comes from storage, before refueling and putting it back into operation, the oil will need to be replaced.
