Street Fighter 4 is Capcom’s best-selling video game and is the latest addition to this hugely popular series.

Because the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game are based on the arcade version, many gamers find it difficult to switch from playing in the arcade, using the joystick and configured buttons, to using a console controller. MadCatz has released a Street Fighter 4 pad to help this problem.

While some people will obviously prefer to use the joystick, the pad that was released is $ 40 cheaper and is much easier to handle (a joystick is a great piece of equipment and not practical to use outside of a game room). The Xbox 360 looks like the regular Xbox console at first glance, but upon closer inspection, you can see that it does not have a joystick. It has a D-pad on the left, then six buttons on the right, arranged the same way you would see in the arcade. The pad comes with a variety of designs and illustrations printed on it, such as an image of Ken in his battle pose.

The Street Fighter 4 pad has been designed to be slightly larger, which makes it more ergonomic and easier to play these types of games. Using a D-Pad to control your character is, in my opinion, easier to use than a joystick (although I have relatively little experience with the joystick), and it is much easier to perform those difficult special moves. The buttons are also shaped slightly differently than usual and have been designed with button strokes in mind, which means they will last much longer than normal. The only minor flaw with this pad is that it has no vibration feature, which seems to be a standard issue with current hardware. Since then, the creators of the platform have responded to this criticism, stating that it is because they wanted to keep costs to a minimum, and that most hardcore Street Fighter 4 fans (the type of fans who would buy specialized gaming platforms like this) they wouldn’t really be too upset about it.
