The Sony Ericsson W660 looks to die for with gold trim and the Rose Red version seems more aimed at the ladies due to the ornate rear. Function-wise, the device is almost identical to the Sony Ericsson W610. The only differences are that the W660 has 3G telephony support while the W610 does not. On the other hand, the W660 does not have an autofocus camera and does not support EDGE. The Sony Ericsson W660 will ship with a 512MB Memory Stick Micro card much like the W610. The 3G-enabled device closely resembles the already announced W610 and follows the manufacturer’s recent design trend. There is only the difference of 3G or else these two are identical twins. This latest addition follows Sony’s style and design trend. One thing is for sure: Sony is taking mobile phones to a new level. Mobile phones are now not just a calling device but have become a style statement, multitasking device and design piece. This phone has all the qualities to become a signature Sony Ericsson collection. This gadget is now available in two luscious colors, black and rose red. The colors of the phone are complemented by the gold trim. Just take a look at it and you will understand how a device like cell phone can be such a decorative jewel. But yeah, this phone is really a joy to behold. Especially the set of red roses with gold trim, won my heart. This particular model is designed for women as the back cover is adorned with a typically feminine design.

Sony Ericsson is ready to woo women with its new W660 walkman phone. Girls love music too, boys. Most phone manufacturers forget to take this into account when making music phones. But Sony Ericsson has realized the fact and has made a stunning looking walkman phone. We say that it is made for girls because it is elegant and attractive in addition to being a walkman phone. With the attractive red and gold casing, the phone looks impressive and delicate that men cannot handle. Half of the plastic back panel is etched with flowers that men will hate. Going to the music side of the Sony Ericsson W660, it’s more of an MP3 player than a phone. The phone shows an external music control on both sides in gold color. You may be a little disappointed by the sound from its external speaker, but since it is a walkman phone, it has the earphones that take you into the world of music instantly. Sony Ericsson offers one of the best headsets available in the market with the phone.

Yet another addition to the ever-growing series of “Walkman” phones, the Sony Ericsson W660i is a lightweight 3G phone with a 2″ 176×220 pixel display, a 2-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, video calls, stereo Bluetooth, player includes a 512 MB memory card, an FM radio and all the familiar multimedia software we’ve seen included with many other recent “Walkman” phones. An interesting addition is the optional MPS-75 snap-in speaker set that plugs directly into the quick port connector and comes with a built-in FM antenna. The MPS-75 is powered directly from the phone, so no additional wiring is required.

Sony Ericsson says the W660i should be available in Record Black and Rose Red color combinations.
