I am often approached by some who mindlessly cut and paste a list of Herbert W. Armstrong’s “failed prophecies.” I reply that Herbert Armstrong was ahead of his time and served as an early warning system. What follows is one of these many exchanges:

Have I not refuted Herbert Armstrong by showing that he was not on time?
No. The apostle Paul also thought that Christ would return during his lifetime. It was ahead of his time, as he, like Herbert W. Armstrong, later realised.
The enemies of God and Herbert W. Armstrong cannot refute the plain truth of the Bible that anyone can read and see for himself. This is why they have such a murderous hatred against Christ in him, just as the “religious” violently opposed Jesus for upholding the TRUTH over tradition from him.
May such misguided people repent of their mob mentality against God’s servants, and learn to go against popular error and begin to teach the plain truth of the Bible (which contradicts their current idolatrous traditions). Otherwise, they will die in their traditional sins and darkness (John 15:22).

Mr. Armstrong spoke the plain truth by the standards of the Bible that counterfeit Christianity has rejected by its own traditions. The Bereans were noble in comparing what Paul said to THE BIBLE, not their traditions (Acts 17:11).

I said that Mr. Armstrong was ahead of his time. The PRINCIPLES of prophecy that he spoke of remain absolutely true: a final rebirth of the godless Roman Empire is prophesied and the EU is moving forward with that Frankenstein Monster now.
I am stating categorically that what you have thrown at Mr. Armstrong is a FUN TACTICE, a dishonest attempt to discredit him as he cannot refute the black and white of the Bible he taught on the clear points I have made and you know it. The proof that you are offering lame excuses is that each of its ministers or traditional popular groups have taught and said worse things that, unlike HWA, are not even true according to Bible prophecy, like Russia attacking the United States (when Mr. Armstrong only warned that it will finally be a Europe run by Germany the that will attack us). which even some protestants now agree is true) and yet we never see them get angry and upset about them or publish against them or call them false prophets. Why your blatant double standard? You may be too blind to see it for yourself, but now that it has come to your attention, think about it prayerfully and you will see that this is the plain truth.

According to your vain traditions and popular error, Paul would be a Judaizer since he kept and taught the Sabbath and the biblical festivals, just as Jesus did and will order all nations to keep it when he returns and reigns in Jerusalem.

It says that Christ will command Jews, Israelites, and Gentiles, all nations, to keep the Feast of Tabernacles, not the pagan Christmas or Easter (I should say a lot right there!), when He reigns from Jerusalem with the glorified saints. , then brilliant God-beings.
