There are times in life when you don’t feel very positive about life, doubt your decisions, and seem confused about the future. For people who don’t recover in earlier times, they end up having long-term effects like anxiety, depression, back pain, and other physical problems. Guidance takes longer to reach them and a better life seems trashy or impossible from their perspective.

Any negative thought or negative emotion is an indicator that you have lost your connection. The sooner you realize and reconnect, the better it will be for you. We are all connected to each other through consciousness/energy/God or whatever name you wish to call it. This connection is important for survival. Sometimes when we observe something or experience some kind of loss, the connection dissolves for a while and usually reconnects when things, thoughts or emotions change.

Meditation is one of the ways to reconnect and strengthen the connection. When you are connected, you feel energized, zest for life, you feel love for others, and you are generally a positive person. You can understand the situation of others and are willing to help. The more connected you stay, the better your personality becomes. Meditating every day is one of the best practices of successful people. But is meditation possible in this age?

The meditation can be as short as 2 minutes and can last for more than 2 hours. Below are some tips that may be helpful.

1. Start early

The best time to meditate is as soon as you wake up. Yes, you need to get on with your day, but 1-2 minutes in your bed before getting on with your day won’t do much harm. Before getting up, close your eyes for 1-2 minutes and just breathe.

2. your breath is the key

Whenever you feel confused during the day or whenever you want to meditate, start with your breath. Focus on your inhalation and exhalation for a few breaths. Close your eyes and just breathe normally. See the difference. It doesn’t take long, give it a try.

3. Your thoughts are invited

The most frequent question is what to do with the thoughts that come when we meditate. Your thoughts are like your guests in the house, they are destined to leave well. Observe the thoughts that come and go. Don’t go out with them. You stay at home.

4. Don’t beat yourself up for not doing it.

When you have made a routine for meditation, there will be times when you cannot follow it. Don’t be mad at yourself for this. Let it go, there’s the next day to practice. Don’t stay in the past, wait for the next moment to meditate.

5. Don’t wait

Let yourself go when meditating. Do not expect any particular experience during the meditation. You will be surprised at what will come. just enjoy nothing
